Q: When is a good time to begin a subscription to KATALOG?
A: Any day of the week.

Celebrating 29 years in print, the 91st issue of the photographic art magazine KATALOG – Journal of Photography & Video has just been published – NOW is a good time to begin a subscription.

For €38 + VAT a subscription will give you two yearly issues of 96 pages full of articles and presentations in English and one of the Scandinavian languages Danish/Norwegian/Swedish.

Please e-mail shop [at] katalog-journal.com with your preferred address of delivery and we will reply with a .pdf invoice with banking details or e-mail you a PayPal payment request.

With your subscription you will find yourself in the company of more than 300 new personal (and 30 new institutional) subscribers that have signed up since last summer thereby confirming that it pays off to maintain high standards – quality in photography and texts, in printing and paper – because good art is worth it.

Speaking of worth: The many readable articles in all of the 28 volumes are fully indexed by artist name in a pdf-file, by which you are able to find your favourite article. Especially institutions find the indexation a highly valuable tool for inspiration and research – because a good magazine is worth keeping.

Here is a short list of some of the international institutions that have subscribed for years:

Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Getty Research Institute, Hasselblad Center, Edith Cowan University, Rhode Island School of Design, EOS Art Books, Chelsea College of Art, Stedelijk Museum, Centre George Pompidou, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Loughborough University, Victoria and Albert Museum, Lunds Universitet, Galerie Fotohof, Canadian Centre for Architecture, Fachhochschule Bielefeld, Ingalls Library, Moderna Museet, Preus Museum, Dunkers Kulturhus, Rochester Institute of Technology, Falmouth University, Oslo Universitet, Savannah College of Art & Design, SLUB Dresden, Umeå Universitetsbibliotek, …. as well as the many nordic schools and art libraries.

KATALOG reaches far globally with participation in fairs, seminars and festivals – this year you will find KATALOG in Helsinki, Houston, Kassel, Zagreb, Landskrona, Oslo and Paris…
With almost 3000 followers on Facebook, KATALOG gets even further https://www.facebook.com/KATALOG-Journal
